History and Achievements
Pat Quinn's legacy as Coach and GM of the Vancouver Canucks still lives on today. He was the man who
drafted Trevor Linden, Mattias Ohlund, Matt Cooke and he traded for Markus Naslund. Pat never offically missed
the playoffs as the Canucks boss, although they were destined to do so the year he got fired. He orchestrated some of
the most brilliant trades in club history such as the one that brought Jeff Brown and Bret Hedican to the club for Craig
Janney which sparked the miraculous 1994 playoff run. Clearly a players coach the tall Quinn commanded the respect of
his players and when he got mad you listened.
