History and Achievements
Trevor Linden was born to be a Canuck. He was drafted by Pat Quinn in 1988 and from
the moment he dawned the migthy yellow and black he was an instant hit. Captain material from
the ripe old age of 18, Trevor was like a freight train in the corners, never losing battles for
the puck. He carried the team on his back a times and even drops the gloves on rare occations.
Trevor always scored that extra goal that the Canucks needed. In game seven of the stanley cup finals in
1994 Trevor scored the only two Canuck goals and collapsed in the corner after the game from fatigue and
bitter dissapointment. After being traded away by Mike Keenan, Trevor has never been the same. He is the player rep
for the NHLPA and is heavily involved in charities and community work. As his career sets into the twighlight albiet
prematurely, Linden will always be remembered by Canucks fans for his hard work and leadership.
