The original team
After going down 2-0 an unlikely first goal was scored. The one an only Barry Wilkin doubled his career output to write himself into the Canucks history books. The glory was short lived as they lost to the Kings 3-1. | |
The first seasonThe Canucks finished 24-46-8 and might have challenged for a playoff spot if thier captain had not been injured. Super pest Andre Boudrias led the team with 25 goals and 41 assists. Four Canucks scored 20 or more goals for the first time in thier careers. Despite this good start, the team could not keep pace in the years to come. |
