Creed Bratton is one of the more interesting chracters at Dunder Mifflin... he speaks some Mandarin, is about 60 or so years old, used to tour with "The Doors" as part of his band, "The Grass Roots" (for real!), is something of a pervert, claimed to be dead to tax reasons, was once homeless, and has an alter ego to transfer his bankruptcy debt to.
Scared yet? Creed works as the 
Quality Assurance Manager at Dunder Mifflin,
but because he did so many drugs in the 60s, his work calls are limited
to 90 seconds (due to his lack of concentration). He was once homeless,
but that subject isn't really discussed in the show. Creed is pretty ruthless
and has some unusual thought processes, which he likes to blog about. He
asked Ryan to set up his blog, but Ryan, wanting to protect the world from
Creed's brain, instead set up a word document on his computer and told Creed
that was his blog. After reading it, he said, "even for the internet...

Creed dyed his hair when Ryan tried to get the office to start using
BlackBerry's, in an attempt to become a younger company. He'll do whatever
it takes to keep his job, even 
getting innocent people fired. At the same
time, he is not above selling company equipment for profit, such as the
time when the Scranton Branch thought they were going to be downsized. Creed
also likes to sexually harass Pam and even the new hire, Hanna (photgraphing
her left breast... "right place at the right time").
Creed's current project is to get Michael to buy a new chair... Pam will get Michael's old chair, and Creed will get Pam's old chair... and then, for whatever reason, he wants one more.
