Scene Emergencies

It is not the purpose of this site to cause paranoia, or scare anyone away from practicing rope bondage, but emergency situations can arise during a scene.

Even if you're not a boy scout, you should be prepared.

What Should You Do?

Don't Panic
Someone has to calmly respond to the situation. If you are the top, that person is you.
Be Prepared to Cut Your Rope
Cutting is not always necessary during an emergency; but if it is, keep in mind that the person in distress is more important than your rope.
Assess the Situation
It might be safer to not cut the rope. It may be safer to untie the bottom slowly.
Ask for Help
If you are playing in public, a dungeon monitor would be a good person to ask for assistance.
Consider Dialing 911
For serious situations, it's better to be safe than sorry.
