Checklists for Before, During, and After Scenes

Communication:
- Established safewords
- Negotiate what you plan to do
- Possibly discuss hard limits and soft limits
- Discuss medical conditions and physical limitations
- Discuss aftercare needs
Equipment:
- Make sure that your EMT scissors are at hand
- Keep water or juice at hand
- If your bottom takes emergency medication, have that at hand
- Keep a blanket at hand
- Be aware of the location of the flashlight, fire extinguisher, and first aid materials
When Playing in Public:
- Be aware of the rules of the event
- Comply with requests of the event organizer or the dungeon monitors

Emergency Equipment

Communication:
- Listen for safewords or watch for visual safewords
Physical Issues:
- Don't be afraid to untie ropes and start again
- Give your bottom water if they want some
- Your bottom may be tired from holding a position, standing, or having their arms above their head
- Blood flow issues are not an emergency, but ropes should be adjusted
- Nerve compression issues are serious and should be dealt with immediately.
When Playing in Public:
- Don't hesitate to ask a dungeon monitor for information or assistance
- Do not answer your cell phone
- Do not interfere with other people's scenes
- Do not touch other people's rope, equipment, or toys without their permission

Communication:
- There is often a communication aspect to aftercare
Physical Issues:
- Your bottom may be tired from holding a position, standing, or having their arms above their head
- Blood flow issues are not an emergencies, but ropes should be adjusted
- Nerve compression issues are serious and should be dealt with immediately
When Playing in Public:
- Please clean the dungeon equipment
- Do your aftercare in the aftercare area
- Be aware that other players may still be recovering or transitioning after their scenes
- Do not allow people to drive if they are still in deep subspace
