Contemplation

Fear can be a tricky emotion. Some people hate it and some people love the thrill of it. Why else would people want to do things like bungee jumping, sky diving, visiting amusement parks and exposing themselves to countless horror movies? We are all programmed to fight for survival. Fear is your body's way of warning you of possible danger ahead. Should we always listen to it?

Sometimes the fear is so extreme, that the person might have emotional/social problems because of it. Just imagine that you are totally afraid of open doors. People would not only think you are strange, but you would have it in the back of your mind at all times. How would you relax and enjoy life?

On the other hand, you may love being frightened. Maybe it makes you feel almost more alive to feel that burst of adrenaline and your heart beat quicken.

Boo!
